Shown here are photographs of our plaque and the Corsican Pine now planted in the Mediterranean section of the National Memorial Arboretum, not far from the site of the Italy Star Association.

The planting was delayed by the extensive flooding of the Arboretum during the Summer floods in July, when a number of trees had to be replaced.

We appreciate very much the effort by Colin Russell, 095, ex-1st North Staffordshire Regt., to take and send the picture on the left for us.

The right-hand picture was recently provided by the Arboretum staff, and gives a fair view of how this section of the Arboetum is arranged.
