Bibliography - Patrick G Skelly - Military History Network http://www.milhist.net/reference/biblio.txt This edition updated 2008 May, identifies more than 700 books and 200 other documents held in my personal collection. Monographs, articles, journals, maps, and audio-visual materials are now the focus for further bibliographic expansion (if I can stop buying books). Documents or records stored or transmitted in digital electronic form are also being included as time permits. ORGANIZATION Entries in the several divisions of this bibliography are ordered by title, alphabetically, ignoring any leading article 'a', 'an', or 'the'. Entries whose titles begin with a numeral precede the alphabetic sort. Several former citation formats have been transformed into a personal adaptation of the 'Chicago' bibliographic style. EXTENSIONS Each entry is now being preceded by a personal coding field which begins with '^' and ends with a space. Delimiters '' and '' are used to indicate italic typeface. Anything within square brackets may be ignored at your discretion. Examples are ISBNs following a date of publication, and details of history or publication. The Chicago Manual of Style does not, as yet, recognize the value of ISBNs (International Standard Book Numbers).
